Reports in Germany are suggesting that both Main 05 and Hannover 96 of the Bundesliga are look at signing current Blackburn loanee Roque Santa Cruz.
Roque Santa Cruz is currently under contract with Manchester City but has been on loan at Ewood Park since January with the Paraguayan not showing the previous type of form he first showed when he originally played for Blackburn from 2007 to 2009.
Mainz and Hannover are likely candidates to be involved in Europe next season with Hannover still in with a chance of qualification for the Champions League with two games remaining and it seems they both wish to add some experience to their squad before embarking on long European campaigns.
For Santa Cruz it will mean a return to Germany after spending much of younger years with Bayern Munich where his picked up 155 appearances scoring 31 goals in the process.
Should Manchester City agree a fee with either of the Bundesliga sides, Blackburn will need to move quickly if they wish to keep the 29 year old in Lancashire.
