Malaga to offer Chelsea hitman escape route

Anelka could fancy a move back to Spain but this time with MalagaLa Liga side Malaga look to be the club most likely to offer current Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka a Stamford Bridge escape route and are planning a £8m move for the former Arsenal star.

Malaga’s new found wealth has seen them move forwards for players they would normally not be linked with but see the 32 year old as a player of experience who has a lot to offer them. With Chelsea closing in on the signature of Romelu Lukaku and Andre Villas Boas apparently preferring the likes of Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba as his main strikers, the club are prepared to listen to offers.

Chelsea also have Daniel Sturridge coming through nicely after a good year at Bolton last season meaning Anelka could be fifth in line for a starting place despite a heavy fixture list. It is believed Malaga have made initial enquiries and will follow them up with an offer by the end of the week.
