The early kick-off sees Manchester City host West Ham United and although the former lost their title to Manchester United on Monday evening, Roberto Mancini needs a big performance here.
City are five points clear of Arsenal in third position and have an FA Cup final coming up next month, so building confidence in the squad is vital and after their defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last time out, they have to bounce back against the Hammers.
West Ham come to the Etihad with the pressure off them as they have gone over the 40-point mark, so are staying in the Premier League for another season.
The home side are the big 2/7 favourites to win this one.
Moving onto the 3pm kick-offs, Wigan Athletic take on Tottenham at the DW Stadium in what is arguably the biggest game of the day.
The Latics are three points adrift of safety and desperate for a win here after losing to West Ham over the weekend, whereas Spurs’ victory over Man City moved them to within touching distance of the top four.
Andre Villas-Boas’ men can move into third position with all three points as both Arsenal and Chelsea are in action on Sunday. They are at 20/19 to take the spoils.
As we know, you can never write Wigan off and they usually pick up results just when they need to, which makes them a decent looking bet at 17/6.
Norwich City make the journey to Stoke City and after both teams had a big win last time out, they should each come into this one full of confidence.
Norwich are now on 38 points, with Stoke on 37, so the winner of this one would all but guarantee their Premier League status for the 2013/14 campaign, whereas the loser will still have a bit of work to do.
The Canaries don’t travel well though and Stoke have won just once at the Britannia all year, so a draw could be good value at 29/12.
Everton and Fulham lock horns at Goodison Park and after their defeat to Sunderland last weekend, the former don’t look as though they are going to mount a challenge for the top four.
However, David Moyes will demand a strong finish to the season as sixth place is very much in the Toffees’ hands.
Fulham have now lost four of their last five matches and the season seems to be fizzling out somewhat, so Martin Jol is looking for a big performance from his side here.
The final game to look at sees Southampton host West Bromwich Albion at St Mary’s.
The Saints are on 39 points, so Mauricio Pochettino is looking for one more result from somewhere to see his men reach the magic 40, whereas West Brom are in eighth and are another side with not a great deal to play for.
Bring on another enthralling day in the Premier League.
