Its Man Utd v Aston Villa as Paddy Power announce a free bets offer as the firm report plenty of money coming in for Manchester United to win convincingly at Old Trafford and secure their 20th league title.
There is an excellent Monday Night Football fixture coming from the Premier League this evening as Manchester United entertain Aston Villa and the Red Devils know that all three points would see them claim the league title.
Manchester City collapsed at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon, conceding three goals in seven second half minutes and lost the match 3-1, which means United can win their 20th league title at Old Trafford tonight.
Premiership Football: Paddy Power Free Bets Offer
Its definitely an interesting Monday night of Premiership football, as Manchester United look to secure their 20th title! Paddy Power are celebrating with a free bet offer worth £250/€250 to customers to spend on the match! – claim here!
The Red Devils come into this one with just one win in their last three top flight matches, so they aren’t in the best of form, but should have enough to come out on top here.
Sir Alex Ferguson would love to wrap the title up on home soil and if the hosts do go a goal up, there is sure to be an electric atmosphere inside Old Trafford.
Wayne Rooney put in one of his worst performances of the season in the 2-2 draw at West Ham United last time out, but he could still start this one and will feel as though he has a point to prove. You can back the Englishman to score first at 9/2.
United will win the title this season, but that doesn’t mean Ferguson is going to allow his men to take their foot off the gas as he is sure to have Chelsea’s record points total in his sites.
As for Aston Villa, they didn’t have the best of days on Saturday even though they weren’t in action as Norwich City, Stoke City and Sunderland all won, while Newcastle United took a point at West Brom.
One positive for Paul Lambert was that Wigan Athletic lost at West Ham on Saturday afternoon, so Villa are still three points clear of the bottom three.
Lambert isn’t the sort of manager to set his side up to take a point as he is always a believer in picking a team to win the game.
In some ways, the away side don’t have any pressure on them as nothing is expected and there could be some nerves in the United camp. With three wins in five matches, the Villains come here in decent form and when at their best, they can be a match for anyone.
The bookmakers don’t give them much of a chance of winning this one though as they are out at 14/1 to come out on top.
Christian Benteke is going to be the key man for the visitors and if he is given any sort of chance this evening, the Belgian is more than capable of putting the ball in the back of the net. He is being offered at 10/3 to score at anytime, which could be a decent bet.
With both teams sure to play attacking football and with so much at stake, it should be an enthralling 90 minutes of action.
It all gets underway from 8pm on Monday evening and come 9.45pm tonight, we could see Manchester United win the Premier League title.
