Manchester United continue their rather intense preparation for the new Premier League season this weekend when they take on Hannover, as 888Sport publish a new free bets offer for the season and report that all the support has been for Man City at short odds to lift the Premiership title one more.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s men have had plenty of competitive friendly matches so far and this – their sixth and final pre-season contest – is no different. With the start of the season around the corner, United are expected to be sharp and show they are ready, as punters continue to overlook them, pushing their price out to 13/5.
With Manchester City winning the title last season, United need to be at their best from the start.
Premiership Season : 888Sport Free Bet Offer

Sir Alex Ferguson, of course, still regards his team as the one to beat in England, regardless of the events on the final day of last season, and the arrival of Shinji Kagawa and potential arrival of Robin Van Persie has set down a marker that this term, the Red Devils mean business.
In terms of their pre-season form, it has been solid enough, although Ferguson would like them to show more in front of goal as the goals haven’t exactly been flooding in.
However, there have been plenty of positives. Nemanja Vidic has returned to action for example, while new signing Shinji Kagawa has already made an impression with the winner against Shanghai Shenua.
This means that, overall, United are in decent shape ahead of the new season and they will hope to go into the clash with Everton on the back of a victory, so this is an important test for them.
As for Hannover, well they are the underdogs for this one, but it is a fantastic chance for them to test themselves against one of Europe’s top teams.
They will be aiming to challenge for the European places in the Bundesliga this season and victory this weekend would be a great platform for them to build on.
With regards to their preparations for the new season, this is their toughest challenge yet – by a long way. So far they have had a 6-1 victory and a 3-0 defeat, so it has been mixed in pre-season so far.
This is perhaps the match where they really see how they are progressing.
Getting underway on Saturday evening, this should be a competitive contest between two teams looking to finish pre-season with a positive performance and victory.
