Moyes will now ponder whether to sign the 32-year-old Poland international who spent five seasons with Celtic before moving to Italy. Ukrainian club FC Dnipro and Germany’s Werder Bremen are also interested in Boruc but it’s thought he prefers a move to Merseyside. Daily Mail

The 24-year-old is highly rated in his homeland and has caught the eye of both David Moyes and Sir Ales Ferguson with some impressive performances in Serie A although it’s thought he will cost in the region of £16 million.
