Manchester City Boss Expecting Exits

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has revealed that he is expecting more players to follow Emmanuel Adebayor out of the club. Due to their large squad, a number of high-profile players have become regulars on the bench or not involved at all, with the Blues having spent big again this summer the number of players included in this is set to grow.

City signed Samir Nasri from Arsenal this week, which has left Mancini with an embarrassing amount of proven Premier League players in search of new clubs. Striker Emmanuel Adebayor’s loan move to Tottenahm was finalised on Thursday, however the likes of Shaun Wright-Phillips and Craig Bellamy have both been linked with moves away from Eastlands, whilst Roque Santa Cruz is also in search of a new club after dropping way down the pecking order.

Mancini has confirmed that he is more than happy for them to move to difference clubs to secure first-team football before the transfer window closes next week.

“We have another week,” he said.
“All the players that are here are good players and I hope they can find a good solution for them.”
“Emmanuel is a good striker, last year he played for Real Madrid and now for Tottenham.”
“I hope he can play very well for Tottenham and I’m happy if he’s happy.”
