Manchester City midfielder, Gareth Barry, says that his club have the squad necessary to cope with domestic and European strains in their first Champions League season.
The Blues were held to a 1-1 draw against Napoli on Wednesday night in their Champions League opener.
Barry is under no illusions regarding the task at hand, commenting: “It’s going to be a tough act for us to experience this in the Champions League – playing away in Europe and then bouncing back to the Premier League.”
However, the England international believes in his teammates, adding: “It is something we are going to have to adapt to quickly, but we have got a big squad and everyone is ready to step in when they are needed.”
