Manchester City in Arsenal target Joel Campbell hi-jack attempt?
Reports from Costa Rica have claimed that Manchester City have attempted a last minute hi-jack offensive to try and land Arsenal target, 19 year old Joel Campbell.
The young Costa Rica international was due to complete a medical on Monday evening however it is believed the player did not turn up for the appointment due to a highly lucrative offer coming in from Eastlands.
The players father had claimed that all was set for the player to become part of Arsenal subject to a work permit required as he has not played enough international fixtures to be warranted one, however Richard Law, one of Arsenal’s club executives is looking to gain the youngster a special work permit due to his talents being extraordinary.
But should reports be true that the player did not attend the medical after Manchester City representatives intervened then Arsenal may have lost out on a player who could be tipped to shock the world with his ability.
