Manchester City manager wants more players

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has blamed a lack of players for the side’s 2-2 draw away to Fulham on Sunday.

In what on papaer is perhaps the strongest squad of players throughout Europe, Mancini felt that with two midfielders injured he could not make the required substitutions to win the match.

“We’re lacking players at this moment, I can only change the full-backs or the strikers. I have only two midfield players, as James Milner and Nigel De Jong are injured.”

Asked how he felt about the result, Mancini replied:

“I’m not angry but I’m disappointed. My players probably thought they had done enough to win.”
