Manchester City star cools talks of ‘two-horse race’

David Silva insists the Premier League is nowhere near a two-horse race between them and Manchester United as some are saying, and that the league is still open to a number of teams.

Both Manchester rivals have been in fine scoring form, and both held 100% records until Sunday, when City blinked first, drawing at Fulham 2-2 after going two goals up.

Sergio Aguero and Wayne Rooney have been the superstars of the campaign so far, with the former scoring eight times, however Rooney just holds the advantage with nine goals including two hat-tricks.

Speaking to AS, the Spanish international said: “I would not discard Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal in the title race. It will not just be a duel between Manchester United and City.”
