Manchester City still in race to sign Arsenal maestro
It’s expected that Manchester City may still have the chance to sign Arsenal midfielder, Samir Nasri, after it was thought he would be staying for the coming season.
Following their failure to capture Spanish winger, Juan Mata, Arsenal yesterday completed the signature of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
It’s now thought that the youngster’s arrival could herald the sale of the Gunners’ French star.
Nasri was involved in a bidding war between Manchester United and Manchester City earlier this summer and the latter are thought to revive their interest with a £25m offer for the talisman.
The 24 year-old has only a year left on his contract and, after stalling on an extension, Arsenal could be ready cash in on the trickster rather than lose him on a free transfer next season.
