Manchester City striker hints time at the club may be over
Manchester City striker, Emmanuel Adebayor, has admitted that the ‘love’ between him and the club is broken, suggesting he may seek another move away in July.
The Togolese international is currently on loan at Tottenham Hotspur after spending the second half of the 2010-11 campaign with Real Madrid.
However, Adebayor says his mind is completely focused on doing well at Spurs now, and is not worried about his future at the Etihad Stadium, noting: “I have nothing to prove to Manchester City Everyone in this country knows what I am capable of doing.”
The former Arsenal hitman added: “I have a huge respect for the man. But now I am playing for Tottenham and I just have to do my job, to be professional.”
