Manchester City superstar admits to depression vice

Manchester City forward, Carlos Tevez, has admitted that he has turned to food in recent months in order to overcome his English nightmare.

The Argentine has been seeking a route out of the Etihad Stadium for what is understood to  be the last year or so, but failed to get his wish in the summer transfer window.

Tevez was struggling with his fitness and wasn’t at his brightest in Argentina’s miserable Copa America tournament, and it has now emerged that overeating may be the culprit.

The South American says: “I put on five or six kilos and had to check myself into a clinic. I was depressed and so I ate and ate. Only my family and my friends know this.”

Now being demoted to a bench spot, it looks like the striker’s days at Manchester City will grow ever-worse, with Sergio Aguero starting and Edin Dzeko finally finding his feet in the Premier League.
