Manchester City to hi-jack Liverpool target using overindulgence
It seems as though Manchester City have yet again hi-jacked another possible transfer deal, this time for Liverpool target Alexis Sanchez.
There has been much speculation regarding the Chilean winger over the last few months with reports even suggesting that Liverpool had made a “secret bid” already for the player in the hope of signing the 22 year old during the summer, but reports throughout the worlds media have claimed that the Eastlands club have stepped in with an offer of around £35m for the Serie A star.
For Liverpool fans this is just another sign that Manchester City would rather sign players to avoid them joining other clubs than trying to build a team however with the likes of Sylvan Marveaux already having signed a pre-deal with the Reds things do not look to be too bad.
Should speculation regarding Sergio Pinto of Werder Bremen also turn out to be true then Anfield could still have enough exciting width in the team for the near future.
