Manchester City are set to offer clubs 28 year old centre-back Joleon Lescott for £15m. £8m less than what the Eastland’s club paid Everton for him in 2009.
Whilst Lescott has featured slightly more this season reports do suggest that he would like to play more first team football however with the possibility of Champions League football to come next season, he will only seek a move if it is to another club that can offer top European football.
The former Everton centre-back has picked up 12 appearances for his country but since his move to Manchester City has only played around 40 games.
Should a team feel that £15m is good value for the defender who turns 29 this August then the possibility that he will be wearing a different coloured shirt at the end of the summer will seem quite likely.
