Manchester United hand another £150 Million transfer kitty to van Gaal

According to reports, the hierarchy at the Old Trafford has reportedly handed the gaffer a massive £150 Million to splash in order to improve his side in January

Manchester United spent fortunes during the summer transfer window signing some of the best players from across the globe, with the likes of Angel di Maria, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, Daley Blind and Radamel Falcao arriving at Old Trafford. The latest player to arrive at the club is the former Barcelona goalkeeper, Victor Valdes, a three-time Champions League winner with the Spanish Club.

manutd-falcaoDespite of all these notable signings, Manchester United have somehow failed to impose themselves dominantly in the Premier League and are currently sitting fourth in the league table behind Chelsea, Manchester City and surprise package, Southampton. The situation has prompted the bosses at the clubs to stretch their muscles once more in the transfer market as the winter window swiftly approaches to its end.

Manchester United are heavily linked with Kevin Strootman of AS Roma and Matt Hummels of Borussia Dortmund in recent months but these players won’t come cheap. However, with 150 Million Pound in van Gaal’s hands to spend on new recruits, it wouldn’t be a surprise if one of these two or both, end up at Old Trafford before the end of this month.
