Manchester United chief executive David Gill has confirmed that there will be no more players arriving at Old Trafford before the end of the transfer window.
United have been linked with a move for Inter Milan playmaker Wesley Sneijder over the summer but Gill insists that Sir Alex Ferguson is happy with his squad and does not plan to bring in any new players before Wednesday.
“I don’t think there will be another arrival,” said Gill.
“We’re very comfortable with that. We’ve looked at various players but we’re comfortable with the squad.”
“We’ll progress now and I’m sure Sir Alex will get the best out of them over the next few months.”
