The agent of Manchester United star, Javier Hernandez, has stated that the knock suffered in Sunday’s clash againstChelseais not as bad as first impressions thought, and that the forward could make a return to training this week.
Hernandez was brought down in the penalty area by Ashley Cole and was booked as a result of his dangerous tackle.
However, referee Phil Dowd refused any penalty claims given that the ball was not in play at the time.
The Mexican international was substituted for Dimitar Berbatov as the Red Devils ran out a 3-1 victory.
Agent Eduardo Hernandez commented: “It looked like (his absence) was longer, they were looking for a fracture, that’s why they ran those tests on him.”
“I expect him to be training without incident on Wednesday,” he added.
