Manchester United maestro ready to make a name for himself

Manchester United winger, Nani, has stated that he is ready to end comparisons between himself and Cristiano Ronaldo and do more at Old Trafford.

The midfielder was pleased with last season’s performance but is desperate to improve yet again, in what will be his fifth season at Old Trafford.

Speaking to Inside United, Nani stated: “Last year was my best year, definitely my most consistent season, now I hope this is my year. I will do my best.”

Regarding the comparisons to his international compatriot, the Portuguese star said: “For five years, every time the question is the same. It’s all about Ronaldo. You have to be him. Are you doing the same? Do you think you can do it now? But it’s OK. It doesn’t change anything in me.”

At 24 year-old, Nani is now one of the senior members of the United starting line-up, and will be hoping to play a big role in the club’s success this year.
