Manchester United planning last ditch attempt on Chelsea target

Manchester United will try a last ditch attempt to snatch Neymar from joining ChelseaSources close to Manchester United Football Club have claimed that the Old Trafford side will be making a last ditch attempt to persuade 19 year old Brazilian sensation Neymar to join the Champions instead of second placed Chelsea.

Chelsea currently appear favourites to land the left sided trickster with a reported transfer fee between £22m-£25m likely to be accepted by his current Brazilian club Santos. However, Neymar’s comments do suggest that it would be a dream to play for either Premiership side.

“I know about these teams, Chelsea, Manchester, to play for them are the dreams of all players.”

When Neymar was asked which team he would prefer to join he replied: “I do not have any preference, the decision belongs to God.”

However, Neymar has confirmed that he likes London and that he could quite easily “walk in peace in the streets”.

With Manchester United ready for a busy summer in the transfer market and an expected £100m to invest in new players the funds are certainly there, however it seems at this current time that the next location for this remarkable young boy will depend on which team really want him the most.

Should anything already have been decided between Chelsea and Neymar, or Sir Alex Ferguson’s last ditch attempt fail, then it will spell out a very bold statement in that the Stamford Bridge club want that Premier League title back again, and fast.
