Manchester United set to offer De Gea a new deal
According to reports, the Red Devils are desperate to keep hold of the Spain international and are willing to pay over the moon in order to make him stay at Old Trafford
After initial reports suggested that they might entertain the possibility of a -David De Gea swap, Manchester United have since gone back and chosen to take David de Gea out of the equation and are now set to offer him a lucrative deal that could see him stay at Old Trafford for a long time.
Reports claim that the authorities at the Theatre of Dreams have been conducting serious discussions with the player’s representatives and have come to a conclusion that it is in the best interests of all concerned parties to give their number 1 a lucrative deal believed to be worth around 200,000 pounds a week in order to convince him that he is in the right club.
Moreover, keeping in view the club’s defensive frailties, Louis van Gaal has been advised not to consider selling an important member of the team in order to acquire any of the long term targets.
The reports, if confirmed, are definitely going to calm down a lot of the club’s fans who want to see their custodian sign a long term deal quickly.
