QPR to pursue January deal for Man City forward – Queens Park Rangers boss Mark Hughes is poised to make a January move for Manchester City striker John Guidetti to replace the injured Andy Johnson. Former England forward Johnson damaged his cruciate knee ligaments in the game against Chelsea on Saturday and was ruled out for 10 months. Hughes has now cast his eye over potential replacements and has settled on Guidetti who 20 times in 23 games on loan to Dutch club Feyenoord last season. Express
