Reports from Milan are claiming that Manchester United are preparing to use Brazilian midfielder Anderson as a makeweight in the potential deal that could bring long term target Wesley Sneijder to Old Trafford.
At first there was speculation that United would need to offer Nani as the extra ingredient to help Sir Alex Ferguson get his man but it now seems that the 23 year old will be the one making way for the talented Dutchman.
Sneijder has always been a long term target for Manchester United but they will not be willing to pay the full asking price and would prefer to use the former Porto midfielder to lessen the financial bite. Whilst the Brazilian has started to show signs of his ability it is believed that he has not progressed as well as was hoped meaning a switch to Italy is likely this summer.
Should Manchester United decide to keep hold of the young playmaker then Inter Milan will seek at least an extra £8m on what is already going to be quite a hefty outlay for Sneijder who turns 27 in June.
