Manchester United’s Nemanja Vidic preparing for “biggest game of the year”

Manchester United are preparing for the biggest game of the yearManchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has suggested the Champions League final will be the “biggest game of the year” but that he and his team mates are preparing well for the game.

United last faced Barcelona in 2009 in Rome where The Red Devils simply did not turn up and the captain insists the same will not happen again.

“We remember how it feels to go to the final and lose, it’s one of the saddest moments in my career and I’m sure the players haven’t forgotten that.”

Vidic, who was talking to MUTV, added.

“We have to calm down now after the excitement of winning the league. We have to prepare as best we can for Barcelona. Everybody is thinking about the next game, it’s the biggest game of the year.”
