Liverpool midfielder, Christian Poulsen, is hoping to secure a move away from the Merseyside outfit as he looks to gain more first team football.
The 31 year-old has made only 12 appearances for the Reds since joining a year ago, but is already seeking a transfer as he has been deemed surplus to requirements under Kenny Dalglish.
The Daily Mail reported the Danish international as saying: “My future needs to be resolved in August and preferably as soon as possible. I have to get to play matches regularly.”
Liverpool have signed midfielders Charlie Adam, Stewart Downing and Jordan Henderson this summer in an already-packed Liverpool midfield that will see Poulsen get even less game time while he remains at Anfield.
