Miami were expected to have a fairly comfortable evening in the first match, but that wasn’t the case as they just edged a thrilling contest by 103 points to 102.

Heat were losing with just two second left on the clock, but LeBron James stepped up and sunk a two-pointer on the buzzer in overtime to give his side a 1-0 lead in the series and all the momentum coming into this one.

It was the sort of moment James lives for and with the pressure on, he delivered. As ever, he is going to be tough to keep quiet in this match, but Indiana have to try and find a way to stop him.

Heat do need to improve in this one as they won’t want the drama of Game One again and the bookmakers are expecting them to  win this one comfortably as 3/10 are the best odds you get on a home win.

Miami do often struggle in their first match of the series and have been known to lose it in the past, but as they have a victory and are sure to get better in Game Two, it is tough to look past them winning this one, especially if James is on form again.

Head Coach Erik Spoelstra wants a lot more from his men and has asked them to move their performance up by a level or two.

If they take a 2-0 lead, Miami might just have one foot in the final once more and the chance to retrain their NBA Championship.

As for Indiana Pacers, it seems as though the defeat last time out has made them hungrier for success as they were at practice just twelve hours after the match during the week and Frank Vogel has insisted his men are in good spirits.

With some home matches coming up after this one, the Pacers would love to get themselves level as then, they would feel as though they have a chance of winning the series.

They were so close last time out and just need to make a few tweaks to their game. Defensively, they have to play a near perfect game to have any chance of coming out on top.

You can back a win for the visiting team at 57/20, which makes them underdogs once more, but Indiana don’t mind that tag as it takes the pressure off them somewhat.

Vogel knows that Miami are likely to come out all guns blazing and it is the job of his side to slow them down and try to keep the likes of James quiet, which is easier said than done.

It certainly isn’t a match you want to be missing and if it is anything like Game One, we are in for a treat from 1.35am.
