Napoli will be looking to continue their fine form on Friday evening when they host a Cagliari side that still need points to ensure their Serie A survival, as Bet365 offer a free live stream on the game (see below).
Walter Mazzarri’s men have secured five wins in succession in all competitions, including a fantastic 2-1 win at Parma most recently. This victory means that they sit fifth in Serie A going into this weekend.
Three points over Cagliari would mean that they go up to 4th too, so securing a place in next season’s Champions League is still very much on the agenda in the remainder of the current campaign.

They still have a quarter-final second-leg with Chelsea to contend with in this year’s competition too. Leading 3-1 from the first game, they are in an excellent position to reach the last four and this would be an excellent achievement for them.
Fans of the club may already have one eye on next week’s trip to Stamford Bridge of course, but the Napoli players must focus on Friday’s meeting with Cagliari. With plenty to play for, Serie A points are extremely important after all.
As for Cagliari, they face a tough task on Friday to get anything from the game, but they must back themselves to come away with something. Sitting six points above the relegation zone, they are relatively comfortable for now, but they still need a couple of victories.
Their form isn’t fantastic though – they have lost two games in succession – and away from home they have just one win in their last ten games, failing to score in any of the last four.
When these two teams met earlier this season, Napoli and Cagliari played out a 0-0 draw and there is no doubt that the away team on this occasion would settle for a repeat of this score-line.
Napoli are strong at home though and many will expect them to get the job done. Cagliari’s best hope is perhaps that their hosts are slightly distracted by next week’s Champions League clash with Chelsea.
