Napoli planning raid on Chelsea goalkeeper
Napoli are preparing a daring transfer raid for Chelsea’s Petr Cech this summer with the Serie A side having practically qualified for a Champions League place with just two games to go.
Napoli have numerous keepers on their books but the Italian side are seeking wanting younger legs to help take the club forward and have earmarked the Czech international as the man who could possibly help them triumph next season.
The Italian side has been linked with numerous moves of late but mostly concerning players leaving the club rather than joining but those within the club believe that with a few additions they could enjoy a thrilling Champions League campaign next season as well as a push for the Serie A title.
With Chelsea very unlikely to sell their top keeper a bid is likely to be rejected almost immediately with Napoli having to look elsewhere however the lure of football abroad after no European success with Chelsea may be tempting for the goalkeeper who turns 29 later this month.
