Samir Nasri has finally completed a long-anticipated move to Manchester City, moving to the Etihad Stadium on a four-year deal.
Arsenal announced on Tuesday that they had agreed a fee of £24m for their former French star, after battling to hold on to the midfielder for the past month.
Arsene Wenger was threatening to play the maestro in tonight’s European qualifier against Udinese, and cup-tying Nasri as a result. This sprung City into action, forcing them to complete the move swiftly.
Nasri will play with the No.19 jersey this season, and will be hoping for more trophies to come to the Etihad Stadium this year.
Manchester City boss, Roberto Mancini, is still looking to sign another midfielder before the transfer window closes, pointing out Roma’s Daniele De Rossi as a perfect addition to his squad.
