Hungary know that they will have to be at their very best if they want to get past group winners The Netherlands in Amsterdam on Friday night.

Playing in Amsterdam will certinaly not face some of the Hungarian players based in Holland with stars such as Krisztian Nemeth and Balasz Dzsudzsak who are both based in Eredivisie with Roda JC and PSV Eindhoven respectively.

The main absentee for Hungary will be the loss of Schalke striker Adam Szalai who will miss the clash due to suffering the flu over the past few days.

Netherlands will have a much more relaxed approach to the figure having already sealed their qualification spot last time out with a win against Andorra.

There are several questions about whether Robin Van Persie will be fit for the tie having suffered a toe injury during preparations for the tie.

Van Persie only needs two more goals to break Patrick Kluivert’s national record meaning that the Manchester United player will be keen to make an appearance against Hungary.

With no pressure riding on the qualifier, Holland are also likely to field some other unknown faces on the international scene including Norwich City’s Leroy Fer and PSV winger Memphis Depay who could make his first start for the side.

The other main tie in Group D sees Estonia host Turkey with the visitors knowing that they need a good result in Tallinn.

Turkey have been surprisingly poor in the group so far and sit level on points in third with Romania one point of the playoff spot.

The Turks will be without veteran midfielders Hamit Altintop and Emre Belozoglu who are both injured meaning that there will be added pressure on the likes of Arda Turan and Nuri Sahin to help the team pick up some much needed points on Friday.

Estonia are currently sitting 5th in the group having only beaten Andorra in the qualifiers but they will be turning to the likes of Joel Lindpere and Ragnar Klavan to help give them any fighting chance of getting a point against the former World Cup semi-finalists.
