Newcastle will be aiming to continue their fantastic Premier League form this weekend when they host relegation threatened Bolton Wanderers on Monday afternoon, as punters pile into red hot Papiss Cisse to score first at 4/1.
Alan Pardew’s men have now won four Premier League games in a row, keeping them in contention for one of the Champions League qualification spots. As things stand, they are only two points behind Arsenal in 4th position.
This is of course a mark of a fantastic season for the club as a whole, but the recent good run has been largely down to one man – Papiss Cisse. The striker – who was signed in January – has now scored nine goals in his last eight games.

The Newcastle boss has described him as ‘electric’ and this is most certainly the case. He has reignited the team’s season and now they could very realistically finish in the top four.
As for Bolton, they had a three game winning streak come to an end at home to Fulham last time out. Owen Coyle’s men were brushed aside 3-0 by an impressive Fulham team and now they must pick themselves up again.

Looking at the league table, Bolton are in 16th position, but only a point above Blackburn in the final relegation zone. It is still all to play for and the pressure is definitely on between now and the end of the campaign.
Wanderers do have a relatively decent run-in though, so there is no doubt that they have as good a chance as anyone of avoiding the drop. They just need to hold their nerve and hope their big name players – such as Kevin Davies and Martin Petrov – can produce a magic moment or too.
Monday’s trip to Newcastle is without doubt one of the toughest games Bolton have in the rest of the season and it is the home side that are favourites to pick up the points.
With Newcastle looking for their fifth successive win and Bolton hoping to return to winning ways, this should be a cracking Premier League contest. It gets underway at 3pm on Monday afternoon.
