Newcastle considering bid for Manchester United winger
Sources suggest that Newcastle could be looking to add another Frenchman to their ranks, with a possible move for Manchester United misfit, Gabriel Obertan.
The 22 year-old would follow summer signings and compatriots Yohan Cabaye, Sylvain Marveaux and Mehdi Abeid to St. James’ if a deal did come to fruition.
The wideman, who arrived from Bordeaux in 2009, has failed to make an impact at Old Trafford, and could be subject to a £3m bid from the Magpies.
Obertan is thought to be keen on a move away, and apparently came close to joining Anderlecht in January.
Fulham are also interested in the former French U-21 international.
