Liverpool have reportedly agreed a fee with Newcastle United for the signature of star full-back, Jose Enrique.
The Spaniard has just one year left on his contract and has made it quite clear that he doesn’t wish to remain at St. James’ Park, often using social networking site Twitter to vent his frustrations.
The deal is worth in the region of £6m, with the Reds clinching their long-term target and beating other Premier League competition to the Spaniard.
The Toon are rumoured to be looking at PSV’s Erik Pieters as a replacement for the 25 year-old, with a similar fee of £5.5m expected to be paid.
