Newcastle stopper heads to Celtic on loan
Newcastle United, Frasier Forster, has rejoined Celtic on another season-long loan deal after impressing on identical terms last season.
Celtic have been searching for a solution to their goalkeeping woes all summer, with a backu to Lukasz Zaluska needed, Lennon saw Forster as the ideal signature.
The Celtic boss commented: “There are a few little snags to overcome but we hope to have him registered in time for tomorrow night. If that is the eventuality of things, we would be absolutely delighted.”
Speaking on Zaluska’s performances of late, the Bhoys manager added: “The form of Lukasz has been very good so we will weigh these things up, but it has given myself and the squad a boost.”
