Newcastle United and Spurs meet at the Sports Direct Arena on Saturday evening as Victor Chandler make Alan Pardew’s side value looking odds of 17/10 to take the three points over a Tottenham side still reeling from the departure of Harry Redknapp.
The matchup, shown live on ESPN, looks to be one of the pick of the fixtures in this opening Premier League weekend.
Looking at the home side to begin with, they will know what a tough task it will be to emulate their success of the last season.
Alan Pardew guided his men to a fifth place finish against all the odds and if they can achieve something similar this out, it would be a fantastic achievement.

Despite much speculation, the Magpies have kept hold of their prized assets with Yohan Cabaye and Demba Ba set to stay at the club.
Ba scored 16 goals in the Premier League last season and will partner Papiss Cisse – who scored 13 goals since joining in January and really set the league alight.
Newcastle will know what a tough start to the campaign this is, but if they are to come out on top it will show what they can achieve in the top flight.
As for Tottenham, Andre Villas Boas is the new man in charge of the London club and it will be interesting to see how they line-up on Saturday.
At the moment, it is a forward that Spurs need to buy as Jermain Defoe is by far and away the most experienced striker in the squad and the only one with Premier League experience.
Villas Boas will be hoping that new signing Gylfi Sigurdsson can put in similar performances for him as he did for Swansea in the last campaign.
Tottenham’s ambition for the year will be to finish in the top four yet again and in order to do this, they will want to get their season off to a flyer – starting with three points here.
Kick-off for this one is 5.30pm.
