Newcastle United are believed to be considering their options for Ivory Coast giant Lacina Troare who currently plays for Kuban Krasnodar.
The 21 year old striker only joined Kuban in February but five league goals in sixteen matches has meant at numerous European sides are quite keen on him. At 6ft 8in he is an inch taller than Peter Crouch and although still young, his potential to do damage on the European scene is spoken of quite often.
A problem for Newcastle United though would be offering the striker first team action and of course Kuban would not want their recent signing to be heading through the exit doors just five months after joining, however for the right price, one can be sure that the Russian side would be willing to part with him.
He won’t be the cheapest striker though, with Kuban paying close to £5m for his in February, Newcastle United would need to offer something close to £7m to tempt the side into selling.
