Norwich City will be looking to continue their fine form this weekend when they take on Championship side Leicester City in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Paul Lambert’s men moved up to 8th in the Premier League after last weekend’s excellent victory at Swansea City as they continue to impress in the top flight.
Norwich have actually only lost twice in 2012 so far – at home to Tottenham and away to in-form Sunderland – and their relatively comfortable cushion of 14 points between themselves and the relegation zone means they can focus all of their attention on the FA Cup this weekend.
With the semi-finals taking place at Wembley, it means teams are only two wins away from a day out at the home of English football and this would be a superb way to mark a memorable season for the Canaries.

They have already progressed past West Brom and Burnley in this year’s competition and they will back themselves to get the job done at home to Leicester City too. Then, it’s a quarter-final tie and who knows what could happen.
Nigel Pearson’s Leicester will be far from a walkover this weekend though. They have ambitions to achieve what Norwich have in the last year or two and they will want to show everyone that they are not too far away.
The Foxes may well be 12th in the Championship right now and nine points adrift of the top six, but they are still determined to go on a run that can see them move into the promotion picture. Perhaps victory at Carrow Road can be the boost they need to get going.
Leicester have some more than capable players too that they will hope can cause Norwich problems. David Nugent for example has scored four in his last four games, while fellow striker Jermaine Beckford has scored five goals in three FA Cup appearances this season.
Looking at the team news for this weekend, Norwich are expected to name a strong side, although they could bring in the likes of Steve Morison and Wes Hoolahan who came off the bench against Swansea last weekend.
As for Leicester, striker Paul Gallagher misses out with a hamstring injury, although on-loan Aston Villa forward Nathan Delfouneso is available to start the game at Carrow Road.
