Nottingham Forest linked with Brighton goal machine

Nottingham Forest are the latest club to be linked with a summer move for Brighton and Hove’s top striker Glenn Murray. The 27 year old has been in terrific form this season and his goal scoring has been noticed by numerous Championship club.

Although interest was denied by Millwall manager Kenny Jackett, rumours are still rife around the East End club and Derby County have also been mentioned in the media as being an interested party.

With promotion for Nottingham Forest still a possibility they do lack some firepower up front having scored only 49 league goals this season compared to Reading with 64, Leeds United with 73 and Swansea City with 54 of those above the City Ground club.

Whilst Forest’s form has been abysmal of late, it is not too late for a turnaround and should any interest in Murray become a reality, it will not cost them much, with the striker coming to the end of his current deal at Brighton.
