Nottingham Forest are closing in on the signing of West Bromwich Albion striker Ishmael Miller with sources suggesting a deal could be struck as early as next week.
The 24 year old forward has been at West Brom since 2008 and spent the second half of last season on loan at Premiership new boys QPR. However Miller may not be involved in the Premiership this season with Roy Hodgson ready to listen to permanent offers for the striker and Nottingham Forest manager Steve McLaren is keen to add him to the squad.
Although it appears no official deal has been completed thus far, it is believed that a possible medical this weekend will lead to his signature early next week.
