Peterborough close to tying up deal for Celtic starlet
Peterborough are read to seal the signing of Celtic defender, Josh Thompson, on a season-long loan deal.
Reports suggest that the two clubs are close to agreeing a deal that will take the youngster to London Road, and Thompson should be ready for the Posh’s game against Blackpool this weekend.
The 20 year-old spent last year on loan at Rochdale and is now looking to move to a higher standard of football as he is yet to make a serious impression at the Glasgow club.
The England U-19 has made 18 appearances for Celtic, scoring three goals in the process.
