The 2014 World Grand Prix continues with Phil Taylor v James Wade and Michael Van Gerwen v Mervyn King the main event as the action continues from the CityWest Hotel in Dublin, Friday.
Its been a rollercoaster of an event so far in Dublin, with some fanstastic arrows as the tournament reaches the ‘business’ end – and we could be set for fireworks, with Phil Taylor taking on James Wade.
The 16 times World Champion is looking for another Grand Prix win, having won the tournament 11 times already, however ‘The Power’ faces a resurgent James Wade who looks back to his best this week.

‘The Machine’ has been out of sorts in recent months, failing to qualify for this year’s PDC Tour but after coming through a monumental match against Robert Thornton, in a match where two nine darters were hit, we are looking at a more confident Wade, and this time around he could go all the way.
[blockquote source=”James Wade”]”I’m just glad to move on to the next game and play how I can. After playing a game like that, it doesn’t get any harder.”[/blockquote]
The final game of the evening sees Michael Van Gerwen take on Mervyn King.
World number one Van Gerwen came through a tricky match with Dean Winstanley in the previous round, eventually winning 3-1 and posting an impressive average of 98.
His opponent King took out Raymond Van Barneveld 3-1, and the Van Gerwen – King duel should be a cracker to round off another exhilerating night at the 2014 Grand Prix Darts Tournament in Dublin.
