Podolski move imminent?

Podolski's poor form may not just be coincidenceTottenham, Arsenal and now too Chelsea are monitoring the situation of 1FC Koln forward Lukas Podolski who’s mind does seem on the game at the moment.

In a dreadful performance for his side at home against Wolfsburg the Germany international put in much less effort than that of his team mates with at least one in three passes going directly to their opponents. Whilst this could merely have been an off day for the 26 year old there is noise that this performance is due to the player not only recently losing his captaincy but that a move to a “London club” is also imminent.

Chelsea seem ok for strikers with the addition of Lukaku however they do still seem a side looking for width, whether Podolski really would fit the bill in a Chelsea shirt however remains to be seen. Tottenham have been linked with the forward since 2009 and have admired the forward as a possible Tottenham player as replacement for Juan Mata should the Spaniard either choose to goto North London rivals Arsenal or remain with Valencia.

Arsenal could be the more favoured club for Podolski with the side also linked with his international team mate Per Mertesacker perhaps a ploy to make any adjustment to life in London a little easier.
