Arsenal have joined the race to sign VVV Venlo winger, Ahmed Musa, and will go to war with Liverpool to gain his signature in January.
The Eredivisie attacker is rumoured to have attracted the interest of numerous European outfits over the past year with his pacey assaults on opposition defences.
At the age of 19, Musa fits in perfectly with the Arsenal transfer policy and would provide some flair to a Gunners attack that appears to have been lacking since the summer losses of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.
With eight goals in 29 appearances, the 19 year-old has already been associated with Tottenham and Ajax, and Venlo revealed in September of this year that they had turned down a £9m last minute bid from an unnamed Bundesliga club for Musa.
The youngster has also made his name in the Nigerian national squad, winning 10 caps for the senior side after short stints in the U-20 and U-23 sides.
With this news, we have an idea that the Dutch club are looking for more than £10m for their starlet and if he carries on his current form, both Premier League outfits could be looking at a January pricetag of closer to £20m.
