French veteran and World Cup 1998 winner, David Trezeguet, is attracting more top flight interest as Aston Villa join Swanse City in the race for his signature.
The Euro 2000 golden goal scorer is available on a free transfer after leaving Spanish side, Hercules, in July.
The forward is also being courted by Ligue 1 side, Nice, who are looking to take Trezeguet back to his native France.
The 33 year-old scored 34 times in 71 appearances for Les Bleus, and spent ten years playing for Serie A club, Juventus.
Trezeguet is seeking a two-year deal that will see him on wages of around £30,000-a-week.
