Premiership Football : Paddy Power Free Bet Offer

Newcastle are in need of a win as well as they have lost five out of their last six. The Toon suffered a disappointing defeat at Craven Cottage last week, the only plus point being the return of  Hatem Ben Arfa to the side as Alan Pardew looks to stop a worrying run, which has seen the side plummet down the table.

At 4/6, Man City have to be the selection here.

Five games then get underway at 3PM and league-leaders Manchester United are at home to a Sunderland side near the bottom of the table, so a comfortable home will be expected.

Sir Alex Ferguson is sure to want his side to take three points with a convincing ‘stamp of authority’ performance following their dramatic win at the Etihad last week, as the 2/9 on the home win is sure to pick up plenty of attention.

After a 3-0 win over Reading during the week, the Black Cats can come here with the pressure somewhat off them, as their price of 16/1 speaks volumes as to their chances at Old Trafford.

Queens Park Rangers entertain Fulham as well in a West London derby and the hosts simply have to win this one. QPR have drawn their last three, but know they need to start taking maximum points to have any chance of surviving.

As we approach Christmas Rangers are still to taste a Premiership win, as Harry Redknapp is sure to target the arrival of Martin Jol’s side as a great chance to kickstart the side. The Cottagers have failed to win in their last 5 away trips, and with Loftus Road sure to be bouncing, the 6/4 on the home win looks the only call.

Wigan Athletic then make the tough trip to Norwich City, who will be looking to bounce back after their 4-1 defeat at home to Aston Villa in the Capital One Cup quarter-final on Tuesday.

Villa themselves are on their travels as they head to Anfield to take on a Liverpool, who have moved into the top ten.

Paul Lambert’s men have to start showing some decent league form to try and move away from the bottom three, but it will be a tough afternoon here.

Brendan Rodgers will hope that his side can put in a similar performance to the one that saw them beat West Ham United 3-2 on Sunday, as the Reds look to continue their excellent run of only one defeat in eleven.

Luis Suarez will return to the side after suspension, but the price of 2/5 on the home win looks a little too short, as Lambert’s side are on something of a run, with four games without defeat.

A confidence boosting 1-4 demolition of Norwich in the Capital One Cup midweek should guarantee their price of 8/1 on the away win sees plenty of attention.

The final game to look at sees Stoke City host Everton at the Britannia Stadium. Everton moved into the top four with their dramatic win over Tottenham Hotspur last time out, whereas Stoke are unbeaten in six and full of confidence right now.

It should be another fascinating Saturday afternoon in the Premier League.
