Premiership sides Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Aston Villa and Everton are continuing to monitor Championship defender Lewis Dunk who made many impressive performances for Brighton this season under Gus Poyet.
The 20 year old only joined the South coast side last year after coming through their youth ranks and has made an immediate impact with the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City monitoring his displays very closely as they continue to focus on bring in English talent to their respective clubs.
Brighton and Hove Albion manager Gus Poyet has already suggested that it would take a hefty transfer fee for them to allow Dunk to leave with talk of figures around the £8m mark. Whether or not any of these Premiership sides make a move in January remains to be seen although it is doubtful and sources expect the player to be watched carefully until the end of the season before a bid may be made.
Most of the interested Premiership sides are keen to add Dunk to their ranks especially with young English defenders currently trending in the transfer market and a battle could be on for the 20 year old with Liverpool and Manchester United rumoured to be showing the most interest thus far.
