Champions League Odds : PSG v Valencia as punters eye David Beckham to score markets

Champions League football continues with PSG (Paris St Germain) v Valencia, with William Hill announcing a new free bets offer as the firm report David Beckham rumours persist that David Beckham could start for the Paris side.

The Champions League round of 16 second leg matches take centre stage this week and Wednesday evening sees Valencia make the journey to France to take on Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes Stadium.

PSG currently have a 2-1 lead after professional display in Spain last month and many will now fancy them to reach the quarter-finals, especially as they have home advantage. Valencia have to come to Paris and score at least two goals, as well as remaining defensively solid, so it is going to be a tough evening for the La Liga outfit.

PSG v Valencia – William Hill £25 Bet Offer

After last night’s thriller at Old Trafford, Champions League football is back tonight with PSG v Valencia. William Hill are celebrating with a new free bets offer worth £25/€25 to customers to spend! Claim here!

Carlo Ancelotti is an extremely experienced man in the Champions League and his tactics were spot on during the first leg. However, he would have been disappointed to have conceded a goal in the final minute of the game.

Also, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was sent off in the dying seconds of the match, so will miss this encounter and that is a massive blow to the side as there is no doubt the Swede is their star man and main goal threat.

Ancelotti is sure to have a plan for how his men can reach the final eight and even though losing Ibrahimovic is a big blow, they do still have players with the quality to come out on top here.

PSG did lose at home to Reims last time out, so they don’t come into this one in the best of form.

They are considered as the favourites to win on the night in Paris though at 10/11.

As for Valencia, as mentioned, there is a lot of work for them to do, but they are more than capable of winning this one.

The goal in the last minute of the first leg was a massive one, if the Spanish team had come here with a two goal deficit, it would have been extremely tough for them to turn the tie around.

In La Liga, they have been in decent form and currently occupy fifth place in Spain’s top division. However, Valencia have conceded four goals in their last two matches and they cannot afford to do that again here.

The strike duo of Roberto Soldado and Jonas have to perform on Wednesday night if the away side are to stand any chance here.

These two have scored Valencia’s last four goals and both can be backed at 8/1 to break the deadlock.

You never quite know what sort of performance you are going to get from the away side as they are capable of putting in a display right out of the top draw, but have the tendency to go missing at times.

They are out at 6/1 to qualify for the quarter-finals on Wednesday evening.

With so much at stake in this one, it should be a cracking encounter and kick-off is at 7.45PM.

Both sides will fancy their chances of qualifying and if Valencia can grab themselves an early goal, it should make for a cracking 90 minutes of action on Wednesday.
