PSV Eindhoven will look to complete the formalities of their progress to the next round of the Europa League when they play hosts to Trabzonspor on Thursday, as they are priced as 1/2 odds to pick up another win at the Phillips Stadion.
The Eredivisie outfit were able to secure a priceless away win in Turkey last week, with early goals from Tim Matavz and Ola Toivonen enough to secure the win. This was despite Olcan Adin’s 33rd minute effort giving the home side some hope they could at least go into the second leg on level terms.
Now Fred Rutten’s side go into the game at the Philips Stadion with the comfort of not only a goal advantage but two precious away goals that give them a healthy advantage.
The win rounded off an excellent run for the Dutch outfit as they not only reclaimed top spot in the Eredivisie but kept alive their hopes of a domestic double with a thrilling 3-2 win over NEC in the semi-finals of the KNVB Beker.
Rutten’s side were dealt a blow last Sunday with 3-0 defeat at mid-table FC Groningen but they are sure to be back to their best at the Philips Stadion.

Trabzonspor were left rueing being unable to take advantage of their superior shots tally and possession, but the two goals they shipped inside the first 11 minutes mean they are well and truly on the back foot.
Having dropped down from the Champions League, the Turkish side would have been hopeful of making an impression in the Europa League, however they are now winless on the continent in their last eight games, a run that stretches back to their shock opening victory over Inter Milan in the Champions League last year.
PSV snapped up defender Mathias Jorgensen on a free transfer on Wednesday, and the former Copenhagen star in with a shout of taking part in the game against Trabzonspor.
Rutten has drafted three youth players into his 21-man squad, Mephis Depay, Menno Koch and Imad Najah for the game, although all three are unlikely to start.
Georginio Wijnaldum is also in with a shout with starting the game having recovered from a head injury picked up in the KNVB Beker win against NEC.
Zakaria Labyad is unavailable for the game however, with Orlando Engelaar, Erik Pieters and Abel Tamata all sidelined through injury and unable to take part on Thursday.
