QPR and Sunderland are to lock horns already during the summer transfer window after reports suggested that both teams are in the market for Turkey and Galatasaray winger Arda Turan.
Galatasaray have endured a shocking season considering their normally high standards and currently sit in 13th with 36 points, almost twice as little points as current league leaders Trabzonspor.
For QPR the season is almost over with them likely to gain promotion to the Premiership as Champions and they are reported to be looking into quality players between the ages of 20-25 to give them frsh energy in the Premiership, should things not go their way however, they would like the group of players to be in a position to be sold for the same amount as purchased if not for a small profit should they return to the Championship.
Sunderland FC on the other hand still have cash available from the Darren Bent sale and although suggestions have made it clear that the Black Cats will try a bid for Porto’s Hulk in the summer, it is unlikely that he will join a team with no European campaign ahead of them.
With Turan somewhat of a trickster on the wing, his flair has been noticed by Bruce and it looks as though Sunderland wish to acquire someone on the left to provide Kieran Richardson with more competition.
